The Making of the Three Pears

Posted by on

Three Pears is an oil painting painted with the Geneva Oils on canvas panel. It is currently available in my shop.

The Geneva oils come in limited palette. For this painting I used Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow, Pyrrole Red, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, and Black.

These oils remain wet for a long time as it already comes with clove oils, which extends drying time. You don't need to use any other medium as they flow very smoothly. They are not made for impasto applications. These oils are self-leveling but you can still show your brushwork really nice.
